So after the not so encouraging news on Ike Davis' recovery (might be out the entire season now ) Is he worth keeping on the roster? In case you haven't heard Rotoworld is reporting he might need microfracture surgery which would end his season.

it doesn't sound good. it is not healing. they are going to give it 3 more weeks to see if any healing has happened then surgery if it hasn't improved

I think unless you have ample DL spots to where it's not hurting your team in any way that he is probably waiver wire fodder at this point - from what I've heard it's an August return in a perfect world, and even in such a world you'd only be losing 3-4 good weeks out of him once he got started ...

Reports coming out today sound promising. Running full speed on a treadmill while putting all of his weight on it. Cartilage is believed to be healed.
