At the beginning of the season everyone was saying that this is finally the year he does something. But if you look at it, he is reallly slowing down. He had a good first month and a half, but in the past month he hasn't done anything.... Should we expect more of the usual Kendrick from here on out or will he still be more serviceable than the past Kendrick?

I think at this point we can say he's a streaky player, but those streaks tend to be measured in months. I don't think the power pace that he was on is sustainable, and BA will always be his biggest contribution. At this point I would say he's an above average 2B fantasy wise but nothing spectacular.

ETA: I thought the same thing about Asdrubal Cabrera coming into the season, so what do I know.

Kendrick was banged up, and even spent time on the dl. His bat has been showing signs of life over the last 14 days or so. Just be happy you didn't end up with Hill, or spend a high pick on Brandon Phillips, who is on pace for a 10/10 season.
