Two Trades WHIR

Ok, I am in a 6x6 h2h league (OPS/Holds) that is a Dynasty. I am trying to get Prince Fielder. The Prince Fielder told me he wanted another good 1B in return and somebody for holds. Holds are a dime a dozen it seems, so I want to see what I can do.

RP: Drew Storen, Joel Hanrahan, Tony Sipp, Jose Veras, Cameron Lee.

Ok, so like I said, I am trying to get Prince Fielder and have two options I can go with.

Option A:

Youkilis and Veras or Lee for Fielder

Option B:

Madisoun Bumgarner, Ike Davis and Michael Pineida for A-Rod and Scott Downs (to a third team)

THEN

A-Rod/Scott Downs for Fielder

My gut says Option A is best for me. So the question becomes, is trading Youk for Fielder a good move?

Yes. Option A. You still have David Wright.

While I like option A, I am not sure Youk is going to be enough. When he said he would want another good 1B in return, I don't think Youk will be considered another good 1B. If you can get that deal done, then I would consider it a steal for you. As for the other deal, I don't think you can deal Bumgarner. Your SP isn't very strong and losing your #2 guy will almost cripple it.
