If it's a std league, I don't think I'd veto. Sure it's a pretty big buy low on BP but it's been almost half the season and he continues to underwhelm. Perhaps the one guy really needs pitching. It'd definitely help though if you could post a few more details - league size, scoring system, etc.
League specs don't really matter to me in cases like this - this trade is absolutely fair. BP continues to underwhelm, and Baker and Carrasco will help give pitching depth to the other guy (which we can only assume is what he needs by doing a deal like this). Since both owners are trying to improve their teams, it's a no-brainer to allow IMO
Good lord, man, again with this? You need to stop posting every trade you disagree with here. If you've got some beef with your commish, either let it go or drop the league.
It's completely clouding your judgment and making you look like a crybaby. There's nothing wrong with that trade.
If you don't like to hear people take about their commissioners you probably shouldn't read the COMMISSIONER'S CORNER. I was in first place when he started doing this and we are playing for money. The kid who is giving him all these players told me he didn't want to trade, and then proceeded to trade him the following players over the next three days, for guys the commissioner picked up out of FA and traded instantly: Pujols, David Wright, Brandon Phillips, Anibel Sanchez, and Vogelsong.
Kid, try hanging out here a while longer before telling the old timers what boards are used for what, ok? This board is not for you kvetching about your commish, it's for commishes to talk about commish issues with other commishes.
What, exactly, do you expect anyone here to do about your situation? Do you just need somewhere to vent?
