Your obviously not going to see much power from him but if you believe he can turn around his season this year now would be the time to offer the trade.

Looking at his previous years stats he usually does better after the all star break. I would offer a trade if your interested.

If that's all you would have to give up I don't see any reason to not roll the dice. Your pitching staff can take the hit.

i just don't see his production coming back. Might help with average, but i'm not feeling the power #'s. That said, you could make the deal and check the WW for a backup catcher in the event Mauer sucks/gets hurt.
