I would be giving up Joe Mauer. Jaime Garcia has been solid this year, though his road splits scare me. Believe Martin/Mauer could turn out to be a wash at the end of the year, possibly with Martin as the more productive of the two. I dunno, I've just got a bad feeling about Mauer, been looking to get rid of him and I don't think he'll be worth more than he is now.
What do you guys think?

I think I would want a little more of a SP then Garcia for him. If you're confident Mauer is gonna be a wash with Martin, which basically means with Martin hitting .238, that's not saying much. Martin got all of his stats early this year, the past month he has accounted for 4 runs, 2 HR's, and 7 RBI's, that's not a whole heck of a lot when you're batting in the Yankees order.

Not awful, but I think you can net yourself a little better pitcher in this deal.

i would try to grab the next best SP from the guy....better to aim higher and get rejected, than to get undercut and accepted. That said, i do think Martin > Mauer by the end of the year. Better team and offense for the NYY vs. MIN.

Personally, I would never do this trade if I owned Mauer. If nothing else, I'd try to get a much better starting pitcher, probably one more proven and with more experience than Garcia.
However, if you feel confident that Mauer and Martin will be a wash, then this trade obviously is in your favor. Who's to say that my projections are more correct than yours? Still, you could probably get a better deal. Especially if this trade is already on the table, you could test something better out and then fall back on Garcia/Martin if it doesn't work out.
Help with mine?
