In a single-year league, it's a lop-sided trade, absolutely. In a keeper league, I think it's pretty even. However, I don't think it's worth a veto. Hanley could get back to his top-3 fantasy talent self, Josh Johnson is still a beast. I just don't think it's bad enough to warrant a veto. If you KNEW that Hanley would keep hitting .200 and Johnson won't be good again, then yea, a veto...but it's there.
it does kinda suck because the last place team should be getting the "better players" that are actually performing now so that it can help him out of last place. regardless it shouldnt be vetoed UNLESS, like the other person stated, these 2 have a history of trading with eachother every year in that scratch my back and ill scratch yours mentality. I myself am a commissioner and let every trade go thru regardless unless there is cheating going on. There are always 1 manager that trades with just 1 other manager even though he gets better deals from other people so thats when you might have to think somethings going on. hope it helps
If it can be proved they are cheating, veto it. Otherwise, it has to go. I am a firm believer that dumb managers should not be protected. It more often gets to me that I should have low balled him first.
Let it slide, Hanley could make the turn everyone is waiting for with his new manager and JJ will help down the stretch if this guys team can move up in the rankings
