Pujols is reportedly out 4-6 weeks with his forearm injury, and I imagine it might be a bit longer when including a rehab stint before he's effective again, so there's no doubt in my mind that most already rosterable 1Bs are now going to outproduce him over the remainder of the fantasy season.
That said, would you consider trading FOR Pujols anyway in a h2h league with an eye toward the playoffs? (6x6, uses fpct and holds)
My team's biggest weakness all year has been 1B (I drafted K. Morales), and while this would do nothing to help me in the short term, if I could manage to sneak into the playoffs (I'm currently holding the last playoff spot), it could shore up a hole when it really matters. Too big a risk?
The deal would likely be Justin Smoak for Pujols.
