Pretty ironic since these guys were actually traded for each other in real life, but a guy in my league just completed a trade to get Hanley for his Mauer and Kendrick, specifically because he knew I was going after Hanley. Now he has offered me two trades, Lincecum OR Beckett for Hanley. Immediately, I am going to reject the deal for Timmy, but I am leaning towards doing the Beckett for HanRam deal. Even though Beckett has been terrific, and Hanley awful, this would be turning a 15th round pick into the #2 overall pick preseason. His team has an awesome offense and needs pitching, and has Andrus, Hanley, Weeks, and Phillips for 3 spots so it makes a lot of sense for him.

Another thing to consider is that my league streams pitchers way more than they should, and I haven't been taking advantage of this as much as others because I have more quality than quantity. Also, I've been in talks with the Cano owner for a while and we both want to make a deal. He offered Cano for Espinosa, Ellsbury, and Kennedy. I declined, trying to get him without giving Ellsbury or a top pitcher, but I'm sure if I threw Beckett out there I'd get it done.
What would you guys do? Glad to help anyone else out. Leave a link
