Hanley/Verlander for Braun/Lincecum

12 team h2h yahoo keeper where you keep 3 players + 1 rookie. Thinking of offering Hanley/Verlander for Braun/Lincecum. Fair? Smart? Any advice is as always truly appreciated.

Depends on needs, if you are needing an OF and have another SS, fair trade.

Don't have any glaring needs to speak of and am in 1st place in the league by a decent margin. OF's are Ichiro/Joyce/LoMo/Hart & Kendrick. SS that would be replacing Hanley is Hardy. Pitching staff is deep and strong with Verlander/Weaver/Hanson/Britton/Scherzer/Lewis/Ogando & Humber. Basically need to know the upside/downside of the players involved.

Well, I like the deal for you if you can pull it off. Both players look like upgrades over the ones you'd be giving up, though it's not a rip off deal for the other party by any means. You may need to add in a third player to get a deal done, however.

I doubt the other team will go for it, as he'd need to be a big believer in a serious revival by Hanley. If he bites, though, more power to you.

Well, looking at your OF, you REALLY need Braun. I doubt that the other manager actually accepts this deal unless he still holds Hanley as a top 10 guy and doesn't like the way Lincecum has been pitching lately.
