C Carpenter and M Peavy thoughts? WHIR

I am either stacking my team with studs or duds... I already picked up P Hughes, B Anderson (DL) and I just picked up M Peavy and C Carpenter. 14pl H2H league. Peavy has been doing great during rehab but Carpenter is having a sub standard year. What are your thoughts on these two pitchers? Worth a roster spot?

Carpenter is worth a spot, no doubt. He is aging, and hasn't been great, but he isn't this bad. His numbers will be much better in the second half, and certainly rosterable. Peavy is widely up for debate. I give him no value due to injury/age(innings)/park/league and gut feeling. Others may feel differently but I wouldn't pick him up if he was available.
