In a 10 team H2H league...Billingsley has been awful and I just lost Tommy Hanson to the DL. Would you make a move to get better on the pitching front? Ubaldo has also been terrible and I feel like I need to try to make something happen here. Bud Norris, Scott Baker, Carrasco are all free agents. Brandon Beachy should be coming back soon and I've had my eye on him. Also...Carlos Beltran is available in my league as well. Would you make a move to pick him up?
Thanks!

I wouldn't...maybe throw him ito a 2-for-1 and upgrade a SP or positional player and pick up Beachy with your empty spot.

Making a trade would be optimal, but the problem is I've been shopping Billingsley for the last couple weeks and no one wants him and his ballooning ERA/WHIP.

Tough to decide when to cut your losses.... I am a bigger fan of Norris than most.... He is right there as a every week starter in my opinion. I'd definitely look at options to trade.... If those pitchers are already on the wire, I doubt many are going to give you value for Bills name alone. Try to make the trade. I'd be willing to pack it in and take Norris. Most may not.
Beltran is another nice pick up, but hard to see him sliding into your lineup.

Thanks for the replies, everyone.
Two questions:
1. If I'm making room for another pitcher, do you like Norris or Baker more?
2. Is Joyce (or theoretically Hosmer) worth dropping for Beltran?
Thanks!

I would drop Joyce for Beltran. Joyce is starting to come back to earth.
I'd try to deal Bills with either Hosmer or Stanton and try for an upgrade at pitcher. I think you should be able to get something upgrading your pitching if you throw in either of the two hitters.
Please help with my post
