Should D. Gee be trade bait or is he for real?

Postby lefthandedforlife » Sat Jun 18, 2011 2:00 pm

I've offered Abreu/Latos for M. Holliday & Zobrist/Latos for M. Holliday. D. Gee seems to be a lot more enticing. Should I give this guy options and offer Gee instead of Latos.

NOTE: Looking to pick up Liriano if any of these go through.

Personally I'd just accept the Abreu/Latos for Holliday right now since it's a very good deal for you. I don't think many people would consider Gee to be a better pitcher then Latos, so offering him instead likely won't work here.

Is it a terrible trade for me? Decent? I'd be giving up Abreu and Latos for M. Holliday.

The other guy also has J. Upton and C. Granderson in his outfield.

No, it is a very good trade for you. Abreu doesn't really factor into the deal much so it's basically a tradeoff of Latos for Holliday, which I think anyone would accept in less than one second.

As a Mets fan i would love to say Gee is for real, but i just can't see how he keeps this up. His stuff really isnt that great or overpowering so i cant see him keeping this up
