Tex or Votto for Reyes?

I like Votto better than Tex, though I think Tex ends up with more HR and RBI (less in the other categories). If you can get Reyes for him, I say do it. Reyes is a big upgrade for you at SS. Question is, who do you plug in at UTIL?

Being a keeper league, Votto has a slight edge over Tex IMO. So Tex for Reyes.

I don't see Votto losing in any cats from here on out to Teixeira. The deal is okay if you really feel you need the SB's that badly.

Pulled the Tex/Drew for Reyes/Hanrahan deal. The guy who's mostly competing with me fir first, and stands to lose the most by my upping my SBs/AVG, immediately protested. What a douche. Rest of the league was like, Whatever, sour grapes.

He protested because he stands to lose the most in my trade -- the only category I'm in 2nd place in, SBs, he's leading. And he's 2nd to me in all three of Saves, AVG and OBP, both of which Reyes will upgrade over Tex, likely increasing my lead over him. So, it's a simple case of sour grapes

I'd definitely rather lose Teixeira than Votto. They will both produce big counting numbers, but Votto will help out much more in average and OBP.
