1. Shields (seems to have really turned a corner this year)
2. Kershaw (would have him No. 1 if not for low wins potential in L.A.)
3. Johnson (might be No. 2 if not for injury and risk upon his return)
4. Hanson (pitch counts were already limited to around 100, and they might be lower after injury)
5. Gallardo (inconsistency)
6. Pineda (likely to be shut down in September)
