Pogo Poll: Bat or Chainsaw (aka His Accidental 20k Thread)

OK, two things:

1) The guy in the news link was wielding a metal bat, so don't buy into all that stuff about "the bat would be cut into pieces". If you block the chainsaw with the barrel of a metal bat, it would take a few seconds to cut it completely. Even if you need two hands to keep the bat from caving in, you can always just kick the guy in the back of the knee, or knock him off balance by kicking him in the torso if you have good balance yourself, or kick him in the balls if you're that big of a girl. You can do all this before your bat gets cut, so you'd still have enough bat to beat him with.

2) And what if you have a wood bat? Well, you don't attack the teeth in the direction your bat can get sliced, you hit the saw flatside, 90 degrees from the chain. Worst case scenario, you let off a weak swing and you only knock the guy off balance to give you a moment to get the positional advantage. Best case scenario, you knock the chainsaw out of your attacker's hand completely (if it's one of those small, agile ones that are better for fights). Even better best case scenario, you unleash a monster cut and break the chainsaw, rendering your attacker to a blubbering, apologetic pile of tears as you raise up your bat and declare, "THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!".

I vote bat.

I'm much more stealthy with a bat. Hard to sneak up on someone with a running chainsaw. Plus I can throw my bat and knock you out from 30 feet away.
