Trying to get Braun in keeper league...thoughts?

In 5 x 5 head to head league with only 20 waiver moves throughout season (used 6 already). Also its a keeper league (allowed to keep 5 players, but it is dependent on original draft position, etc....so in other words, I cannot necessarily keep my best 5).

Currently in 1st place, and not only want to win this year, but also want to be set for the future. Eyeing targeting the last place team where he has Braun. Would actually like to get Braun and Cano from him, but don't want to have a negative impact on my team.

Trade my Teixera, Utley, Morse for Gaby Sanchez, Cano, Braun...doubt he would do it. Looking for combinations here that would help me???

The most crucial info to properly answer this is missing, what are the keeper round costs of your players and his? Not just the players you are proposing but also any super keeps you might have nabbed a little later ( Hosmer, Marcum etc...) I really don't see how that team is last place, but he would have little reason to trade either Braun or Cano without landing great keeps. If he is indeed rebuilding? If he shopped them (which we'd recommend he do if he posted here) he'd surely get someones best keepers. Also I'd focus on one stud or the other. If he has any sense at all he'd realize he'd get more value selling them in separate trades to different owners. I'm not saying don't go for both, just that I'd expect him to prefer to not lose both chips in one trade.

I think Hamels would move into his keeper group making the trade you are wanting very improbable. He'd want to get younger, you are offering older, he'd want to get better keepers and you are asking for Braun and Cano. Not sure how your rules based on draft position factors into this, but with what info is out there he's got many great keeper options as is and don't see his motivation to do this
