Which SP do you like LEAST? WHIR 100%!!!

Postby Cypher74 » Thu Jun 16, 2011 10:10 am

Ok guys,

Looking to deal a pitcher in order to upgrade in other areas. Which of the following arms would you try to trade?

Yahoo H2H Points League, counts IP, W, L's, K's, BBs, CGs and SHO

Gio Gonzalez
Jeremy Hellickson
Scott Baker
Alexi Ogando
Ryan Dempster
Matt Garza

I also have Gallardo and Lester, but I'm assuming they are safe.

My plan is to add one of these guys to Colby Rasmus and upgrade to Ricky Romero, then add Brandon Beachy from my DL next week. Rasmus is sitting on my bench right now.

WHIR! Leave a link!

Baker with Garza is a close second. On the right day though I could easily flip the two.

Gio is definitely at not the worst of that bunch.. along with Hellickson and Ogando. I'd say the worst out of them all is Baker and then Dempster.

I think you will get the most value and not lose a whole lot with garza and hellickson. Both are good but Garza is a roller coaster so you can sell high on him after a good start

Ogando and Garza
Ogando has been real lucky with his babip, and it's starting to catch up with him.
Trade him before his value goes down.

Love the idea of selling Ogando....
Despite others with less success, Baker is the least sexiest. I think you can still sell on a Garza. He is tradable not droppable. I doubt you can flip Baker for much. Just notr as sexy..

Ogando. He has huge trade value if you talk with the right manager, and given his low k/9, when his ratios normalize, he'll be a middle of the road fantasy pitcher.
