It's not bad considering I'm not a huge Cuddyer guy. The only issue would be if Ellis returns and Oakland demotes Jemile back to the minors. But Jemile is hitting, so if you can afford to roll with the 2B available on the wire if that happens then I like this deal.

I'd be fine making this deal as I don't consider Cuddyer anything special. Bedard threw another gem tonight (seven shutout innings) and Arencibia isn't a bad option at catcher (likely an upgrade over Suzuki as well).

Arencibia is a nice upgrade over Suzuki and Bedard vs. Cuddyer is close. I take the deal no questions asked.
