14 team H2H, 5x5 (QS's instead of Wins)
As of right now Jed Lowrie is my one bench bat that I use to sub in all around the diamond (most times for Moustakas at 3B).
My RP's as of right now are Feliz and Santos.
Give Jed Lowrie for Venters?
Seems like a lot for a part time Closer (even though his other numbers are nasty). QS's instead of Wins devalues RP's a little bit.
Thanks, whir

I would take the deal and run. Ventres is going to be the full time closer, and even if he doesn't he is nasty. Lowrie has slowed down considerably and won't help you much. I couldn't get Ventres for Grady Siezmore in one of my leagues, so this is a steal for you.

I wouldn't even consider the deal. Venters will not be the full time closer. He has sick numbers, but he will get about 5 saves on the year, when Kimbrel needs a breather or there is a stack of lefties up in the 9th. A bench player who plays all over is very valuable.

While I agree that a multi-elig bench player is valuable, I do remember Venters getting a Save last week when there were mostly righties coming up, and also it wasn't just a case of Kimbrel working the day before. So I'm not so sure I agree with the assessment of he'll only be summoned upon to face a stack of lefties.
