July 1st, and still no sign from tampa about bringing this guy up. What's the deal? Will he be brought up before the all-star break? He's on the waiver wire in one of my leagues, and just wondering if anyone knows any plans for jennings?

I have been monitoring this daily and would appreciate any insight also.

In one of my standard re-draft leagues I've been holding onto Jennings for 2 weeks now and getting rather impatient. How much longer can we expect? Anyone have a clue?
Is he even worth waiting for in a non-keepers league?

I don't think anyone knows what the heck is going on in Tampa. They've waited long enough that even if Jennings played in the playoffs this season, he still wouldn't be a Super Two. Both Jennings and Guyer would be better options than Sam Fuld at this point, but both are wasting away in AAA.

a) playoff service time doesn't count
b) Jennings accumulated 33 days of service time last year which means that he probably just passed the unknown super 2 date
c) I hate this super 2 nonsense - the Rays need every win they can get if they are going to make the playoffs - stop playing bench players like Fuld

It is possible that in addition to the super 2 date that Tampa was also waiting for interleague to be over.

looks like he suffered "a slight fracture in his right index finger" and will be out 2-3 weeks.

Guess this means he can officially be dropped from any roster in re-draft leagues
