Trading Votto w/excess 1st baseman

Hey y'all,

So I have a deal lined up with another guy who is willing to trade me:

Justin Upton/Dan Haren
for
Joey Votto (I pick up a pitcher of his choice & trade him, we have limited moves)

Its a standard 5x5 league. My pitching is killing me lately from not enough wins and K's. I know Haren isn't the best choice but his ERA is always low and his K's are high.
I have Gaby & Youk both riding the bench because I can't get them in my lineup. I NEED to dump someone. 8 man league. 3 Person Keeper.

Only problem I have with this trade is that you are getting a solid SP but Upton isn't really going to help you. He is on par with the OF you already have and Youk is probably a better Util player. I would like this deal more if you were getting a top tier SP in return but I don't have a big problem with the trade as is.

I wouldn't do the trade. J-Up might be a marginal OF upgrade to someone like Ethier but as stated would he be an upgrade on Youk? (why is Youk sitting in favor of mike Young BTW??) In any event, Haren's not the no doubt top 3 ace I'd demand to even BEGIN negotiating a Votto trade. I'd pass.
