I'm looking to acquire a SS.

I was offered M. Brantley & J. Lowrie 4 Alex Gordon. I'm sure I could get him to change Lowrie to Dee Gordon if I wanted to. What do you guys think? Is this a deal worth doing? If so, would you take Lowrie or Gordon??

We have also discussed him adding Stubbs and me adding Young...so it would then be:

Brantley, Stubbs, Lowrie or D Gordon 4 A. Gordon, Chris Young (CF) thoughts on this are appreciated also...

Dee Gordon is just a short term option (until Furcal returns), and Lowrie may be subject to Scutaro's hitting.

Are there any free agent SS? I would hold onto Gordon and see what else is out there.

I like the second deal better with you getting Stubbs, but then you're giving up Young, with you trying to acquire a SS, you're just adding more pieces that don't add up. Lowrie isn't a solution, and Dee definitely isn't going to give you anything but runs and steals at best. I would pass.

Don't think there is any way Gordon stays up for the whole year. Lowrie is just a bit above average at best. I'd take a pass

In a 20T dynasty all these players should be pretty valuable. I'd try to to get just a little more on the option with Stubbs, maybe a young pitcher for your most expendable player (I lost your roster when I clicked reply so not sure who). Or even have him include both MI if possible. You'd be better protected if Lowrie starts sitting or Dee gets sent down.
