Pablo Sandoval back. Who to drop?

Postby mcbridta » Mon Jun 13, 2011 4:46 pm

I am in a 12 team league and i am in a very tough decision on who to drop because Pablo is back off the DL.
This League is a keeper league.
Here is my roster:

C- Miguel Olivo
1B- Miguel Cabrera
2B- Brandon Philips
3B- Alex Gordon
SS- Asdrubal Cabrera
OF- Chris Young
OF- Ben Zobrist
OF- Hunter Pence
UTIL- Adam Lind
BN-Michael Cuddyer
BN-Aubrey Huff
BN-Ian Desmond
BN-Bobby Abreu
DL- Buster Posey
DL- Pablo Sandoval

SP- Tim Lincecum
SP- Matt Cain
SP- Roy Oswalt
SP- Jair Jurrjens
SP- Jonathon Sanchez
RP- Brian Wilson
RP-Ryan Madson
RP- Craig Kimbrel
BN-Ted Lilly
BN- Madison Bumgarner
BN- Brian Matusz
BN-Daniel Hudson

I am basically deciding between dropping Desmond, Cuddyer, or Matusz.

Desmond- Solid shortstop which are hard to come by often.
Cuddyer- Can play multiple positions. Has been very hot lately.
Matusz- Recently off the DL, hasn't played well at all. Good pitchers are much harder to come by in this league than batters.

My team is consistently at the top of the standings. Who would you drop?

PS. You may think i should drop Huff, but because he is on the Giants and they are my favorite team, i am not.

If you don't want to drop Desmond I would drop Matusz. He really wasn't all that great last year and pitches in the East, so I see him really only as a spot starter to begin with.
