20 games out of first and barely holding on to 6th place (6 playoff teams). Do I deal a SP like Sabathia for an OF?

Is there no CI position in your league or is it just a typo?
Honestly, I don't think you need an impact bat, you just need to find some guys that can help with the back end of your team. Francouer, Coghlan, Maybin, Hafner, Baker and Wolf are all suspect to me. Further I don't think it's worth holding onto any of your DL guys right now unless its not costing you anything (if they're costing you a bench spot, I'd lose them). Further, I think you may find it hard to trade for an OF as big as CC would warrant. What might be easier is to try trading Sanchez for an OF (or maybe an OF and a Util), then switch up some of your back end guys. That might be enough to push you up the standings.
