Best FA SP to pick up? WHIR

Postby PokeyReese » Sun Jun 12, 2011 10:18 pm

Who would you pick up out of Phil Humber, Dillon Gee, Edinson Volquez, Jonathon Niese, Travis Wood or Mark Buehrle?

My staff: C.C. Sabathia, Zack Greinke, Yovani Gallardo, Francisco Liriano, Bartolo Colon, Scott Baker, Ervin Santana.

Need to replace Colon (DL).

I would go with Phil Humber, especially since the White Sox are finally scoring some runs. Dillon Gee is another good option though, he has been pitching very well lately. If you need K's, Volquez can always give you that.

I'd probably go with Humber since Peavy went on the DL. He's pitched well all year. My second option is Gee. I just don't think he can keep it up.

Philip Humber for now. Not sure he'll keep it up, but he does have the pedigree. #3 pick the Draft.
