Jordan Zimmermann... A soon to be House Hold name

Coming into the year Jordan Zimmermann was heralded as a super sleeper worthy of mixed league play off the bat. He was a pitcher in fact coming off TJS as we all know who before going down to the knife was looking like a potential ace on a weak NL division staff for Washington. His home coming off the surgery last year was not impressive... typical as location is the last to return at spotting your pitches with in the strike zone. Fast forward some after a nice Spring and these are the numbers you knowlook at:

Jordan is starting to look much like Josh Johnson after his recovery a few years ago regaining his control while maintaining the heat and excellent stuff. He pounds the strike zone and challenges hitters very well. Do not let this kid fall as he looks really primed after this year to start jumping into the top 25 and on SP's in the league.

Wouldn't it be nice if he get some run support? He should go commiserate with Bumgarner, another one who can't buy a run from his team.

Not to make this about my team, but I made a recent trade that really illustrates this point. I had a trade set up where I would get Jay Bruce for Markakis/Storen/C. Perez. The other owner asked if I wanted either of the guys he was planning on dropping, one of which was Zimmerman. I said, yeah sure, I'll take Zimm. Zimm has arguably been just as valuable as Bruce since I made the trade. Anyway, sorry to hijack, but I thought that situation really made it clear how under-appreciated the Zimm is. So, for those of you trying to land him, even after yesterday's gem, you still may be able to get him at a value.
