Mauer, Werth and Pineda for Tex and Marmol?

I'd also be getting Tim Hudson along with Tex and Marmol. I have V Mart at Catcher, so I've been trying to move Mauer before he comes back. I don't need him or Werth really either. But getting Tex would lock up my Util spots, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it would limit my lineup some. What do you think? I don't need Marmol either, but I would like another closer.

Yep, this is a win for you. Your trading a bench player, Werth, a catcher that has been hurt all year, and you still have VMart there. Easy accept in my book.

I like this too. Tex is the best player in the deal, Mauer is hurt and Pineda should see a correction some time soon. Even when Mauer comes back, you have no where to put him so trading him now is a good idea.

I have to agree that this seems like a win for you. You have the pieces to replace what your dealing and you get great production in return, including the loss in K's that will likely accompany the addition of Tim Hudson.
