Need some serious advice on lineup add/drops

Postby Jhey88 » Sun Jun 12, 2011 3:11 pm

10 team h2h non keeper

I've got Ike davis on the DL and need to know if he is worth keeping. Also, Zimmerman will be returning so I'm going to place him in the utility slot while moving Walker into 2b/ss and Desmond to the bench. I've been dominating the pitching categories so I want to keep them all but is that a wise choice? Also, if I keep Ike Davis his return will cause me to have to drop someone due to roster limitations. I was thinking of either dropping both him and Desmond and grabbing Moustakas, Rizzo, or Freddie Freeman. I need alot of help so anything is appreciated.

Since this isn't a keeper, Davis is doing you nothing on the DL. He's been put back in a boot, so don't see him coming back anytime soon. I would drop him and Desmond and scoop up Rizzo.

Davis isn't coming back for a while. I have him as well but I don't think he's worth keeping in a non-keeper league, since you're using up a bench spot on DL.

Desmond's really not that good, IMHO- I'd play walker in your 2b/ss as soon as Zimmerman comes back. Personally, I'd drop Davis for Rizzo (although I'm a little worried about playing in Petco) and it definitely doesn't hurt to pick up Moustakas if he's available (though that does leave you with three third basemen). The only reason to keep desmond on your roster would be to have bench depth if a 2b/ss needs a day off.

I would keep Davis if it is a DL spot, pick up Rizzo if it is a bench spot. You can't put Rizzo on the DL spot, right?
