I give Konerko, my best bat (right now) for King Felix and Carlos Pena.
DOes adding Felix make my pitching good enough to lose Konerko? I'd be selling high and Pena should make up some of the HR, RBI. I could also add another bat from the FA pool (Dunn< laRoche, Lee, Loney, Kennedy, Wallace, LaPorta, G Jones, and a few more).
ESPN, h2h, 16 team, 3 RP max, daily roster changes. Cats: standard 5x5 plus OBP, QS. Non-keeper. I stream 1-2 SP weekly.
C John Buck 1B Paul Konerko 2B Alexei Casilla 3B Ty Wigginton SS Troy Tulowitzki OF Colby Rasmus OF Jayson Werth OF Alex Gordon UTIL Corey Hart
DL David Wright
SP Clay Buchholz SP Shaun Marcum SP Brett Anderson (DL) SP Scott Baker (stream) SP Kevin Correia (stream) RP Daniel Bard RP Chris Perez RP Mark Melancon
If you do this trade your offense will be major trash, save a couple players. Pena will not fill Konerko's hole if you trade him. I dont think you need to upgrade pitching. You have two spots reserved for streaming so all you need to do is pick the right ones!
This trade pretty much weakens your hitting alot but I'm not really sure if trading any of your pitching is the answer with Brett Anderson having shoulder problems and not pitching well and other than Bucholz and Marcum your SP isn't that deep of course that might be the case with a 16 team league.
You could try Baker for some hitting 2B and 3B appear to be your weakest positions hitting wise
