Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

I'm waiting for Dan Uggla to wake up... gulp. And try to to fill my MI spot in the meantime.
I have Aaron Hill but I am sick of waiting on him. At the same time, I am ever aware of his huge power upside. He's also been running a bit, which is a category I need.
JJ Hardy is available on my WW but may not be for much longer.
Should I drop Hill outright for Hardy? Can't tell whether I'm just blinded by Hill at this point.
The league is 10-team mixed and counts AVG and OPS. Really stuck on this one - I appreciate the help!

I'd probably keep Hill over Hardy but if you don't figure you'll need him long (that is you think Uggla get going), I'd go with Hardy and the hot bat. However, Hardy will cool off probably just as soon and that might be just when he goes on a tear. Both are very streaky hitters.
Please help with my post

yeah i also have a bit of a whole at SS - with Dee Gordon playing there now, so if Gordon gets sent back down I could potentially keep both Hill and Hardy. Might need to get Hardy just for the SS insurance

I prefer Hardy over Hill. Hill has had exactly one good season in his career, and Hardy is having a better season...this year.
Hardy had two good seasons before 2009, and then was hurt last year. And Baltimore is a good lineup, not as good as Toronto, but improving.
Help with mine:

FWIW Hill is an unclaimed free agent in my league while Hardy is rostered. If nothing else, Hardy is DEFINITELY the better short-term pickup with how he's been playing. If you take Hill you're betting long-term -- and I'm not sure that there's all that much reason to believe he'll be anything more than a slight improvement even if you're supremely patient.
I'd go Hardy.
