Okay so I was convinced on Mike Moustakas at (3B). I feel I had to do it considering all they hype and I am extremely excited to see what he can do! Now here is my question On my team who would you start at my "weak" 2B and 3B positions. Depending on the team and pitcher they are facing I will obviously make adjustments, but who would you start at 3B and 2B full-time???
I have: Ryan Roberts (2B,3B,OF) (Love the versatility and has been doing fairly well) Alberto Collaspo (2B,3B) (Again pretty versital and not doing too bad) Mike Moustakas (3B) (extremely excited about this pickup and hope for the best!)
I am thinking that I would probably keep Morse and Sanchez at the Util position. Sanchez has been exeptional, and Morse I'll continue to ride out his streak????
Suggestions please.... Leave a Link and I will Respond As Soon As I Can
C Miguel Montero 1B Joey Votto 2B Alberto Callaspo 3B Ryan Roberts SS Elvis Andrus OF Brett Gardner OF Matt Kemp OF Andre Ethier Util Gaby Sanchez Util Michael Morse BN Nick Swisher BN Mike Moustakas DL Alfonso Soriano
I say Moustakas at 3B and Roberts and 2B and plug in Callaspo when you feel he may have a solid matchup. Roberts has been very solid and should continue, given the chance and I like Moustakas' potential much more than what Callaspo could give you as an everyday starter (though yes, the versatility is very nice). And if MOustakas doesn't play out then you can always plug Callaspo back in. Thanks for your help on mine, good luck!
Let the Moose loose and certainly keep Ryan Roberts going. I think this will probably be everyone's answer. In most leagues there are plenty of guys like Alberto and you can always take a shot on guys like Brett Lawrie or Dustin Ackley when they arrive.
I would start Moose and Callaspo, but keep an eye on the lineups, and start Roberts when Callaspo is not in the lineup. I know people love Roberts, but he has sit twice in the last week, and...
Numbers in the last 30 days (this may not be your league's categories, but you can get the idea) AB Avg OPS HR BI RN SB Callaspo 96 271 712 1 11 7 1 Roberts 89 236 703 2 8 14 4
And Callaspo has a longer history of semi-production than Roberts has.
I see you are in a similar situation as me regarding Alfonso Soriano. I am most likely going to have to cut him lose when he comes off the DL because I am not dropping Moustakas or Morse.
