Reyes for Cruz should I do it? WHIR

Postby BlueJaysFan » Fri Jun 10, 2011 6:49 pm

I was offered A. Ramirez for Cruz, but I don't like it. Should I counter Reyes for Cruz? It's a standard roto league. I will lose power but will get Speed and Average.

MY TEAM:

C Arencibia
1st Voto
2nd Phillips
3rd Reynolds (while on the hot streak)
SS Drew
OF Cruz
OF Hamilton
OF Bourn
Util Lind
Util Ortiz
BN Polanco
BN Moose
BN Sizemore
BN Morse

SP Ogando
SP Hanson
RP Hanrahan
RP Axford
P Gregg
P Salas
P Hamles
P Colon
BN Morrow

I'd say no to both. Aramis, while he is talented, plays in one of the worst offenses in the league. You have a great SS already in Drew and Cruz is a 5 tool player, unlike Reyes. Reynolds, while he may not hit 4 HRs in 5 games like he has of late, should be a good source of power from here on out, despite a horrible average. Reynolds you know can produce, he just had a slow start after switching leagues and teams.

Help?

Depends where you can pick up more points. I would see what OF you could get for Drew while looking at this and see if the 2-for-2 makes sense for your team.
