Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

I'm not going to post all the details of the league or anything, because I'm curious just from a pure value standpoint. Standard 5x5 roto.
I'm probably going to make the move of Grady Sizemore for Bedard because I needed pitching and had a wealth of OFers. I will get a future draft pick also to make it worth my while, but is it worth it just on pure value? Should I insist on a better pitcher for Sizemore? Or are these two reasonably similar in value?
Post a link and I'll help out.

I would expect a lot more than Bedard for Sizemore. Someone along the lines of Wandy Rodriguez or Jonathan Sanchez. Your talking about a top 60 outfielder that has shown flashes of being better in the past. Don't trade him for a guy on a hot streak.

Yeah I have Bedard he has been doing well. But im just waiting till he falls off. I mean Im hoping he is going to keep this pace but we'll see. I need to see a few more starts from Bedard to believe that he is the rea deal. I would ask for more

I guess pitchers are more volatile, but nobody is worried about the injury concerns with Sizemore? I kind of viewed them as similar players in that respect.

Here's my take on this...I like the trade because Bedard is solid in my opinion BUT I definitely think you can get a better pitcher for him. And yes I agree with you on the injury thing, so try to trade him now when he is healthy and get the best return possible. Thanks for the help with mine, good luck!

^^^^Exactly. You should be able to get a little more value out of Sizemore then Bedard, but if he want budge then just make sure you receive a good draft pick in return as well.

to me this is classic sell high (bedard), buy low (sizemore). i'd pass on this one.
