I have the #1 Waiver Priority in a 10 team league and Uggla just got dropped. I have been hit hard by injuries to my keepers (keep 5 or 6) and am in dead last. I can't really drop any of my bench players but need to make a move to improve. Do you think Uggla will end up with better numbers than Markakis the rest of the year? Until Holliday or Heyward comes back I would be short a starting OF so if you have any other ideas just let me know. Obviously I WHIR.

I'd stand pat. One headache for another but Markakis has a bit more upside and is better defensively which means he'll have more opportunities to redeem himself IMO.
Thanks for the help w mine.

If you only keep 5-6 guys I don't see why you would hang on to Strasburg. Yes he COULD be great, but this year is lost, and the first year post-TJS is usually rough. IMO, your keepers are Phillips, Holliday, Heyward, Zimmerman, Lincecum as locks, with Haren a #6. I would drop Strasburg to pick up Uggla and roll the dice.
Drop Posey for Uggla and stash him. If he turns around at some point this season, you've added a top-50 player with power from the wire for free, with the only expense being a catcher injured for the rest of the year that you probably won't keep anyway.
