I think I'd do the deal. You might be getting the best pitcher of the group this year one way or the other, and I think you're spreading your risk out a bit more and helping your depth. Jimenez could get it all the way together and outperform expectations from here on out, but even then I think I'd rather have the other two guys - especially considering your starting pitching depth issues.

Hope this helps - care to return the favor?

Hate to disagree cause waCOug makes good points, but I do: I think Ubaldo has the highest ceiling of all these P's (I own Nolasco) and I think you could get more for him based on last year's dominant stats, which still linger (reason I say is, Ubaldo owners in my leagues are all demanding hefty prices for him). I'd pass.

If I were you I'd look to unload one of your many OFs rather than your SP with the highest upside.

I think getting two quality arms for one question mark of an arm is a good deal. Ubaldo is so far off expectations that i have been tempted to drop him in some leagues. If you do that trade you got two guys with with fairly decent ceilings to them. Both on decent clubs (Reds far better than Marlins) but both National Leaguers and both can rack up strikeouts. Not saying Ubaldo can't , but you get 2 for 1 which makes this doable.
