I don't like deal A at all. Deal B, not really feeling that one either, Hosmer of course is the more established, but the A's really aren't playing that well right now and Cahill has been off his game. The Nats will be getting Zimmerman back and the only thing that Zimmerman hasn't got this year is run support. It's a toss up for me on that trade.

I like deal B of the 2. Hosmer is the jewel. Rizzo playing in SD is in a tough hitting park.

good luck

Deal B for sure. Hosmer = is about as good as Rizzo, but he has already proven himself. Cahill is much better than Zimmerman.

Help with mine:

I like deal B. Hosmer is better than Rizzo and the SP is part is kind of a wash between those two.

I think it all depends on who you think is going to be the better 1B, but looking at your current roster, it doesn't appear that you'd keep anyone involved in the trade. How many years left do your top keepers have left would probably be some good info too. Hosmer has established himself so far, but we don't know how Rizzo is going to be yet. And even in a crappy ball park in SD, he still has to play half those games in other ball parks.

Personally, I like deal B the most.

As far as keepers, I can keep 6. Each can be kept this year plus two more years (so back in the draft in 2014 basically).

The only guy who has go back in the draft (if I kept him) in 2013 is Greinke.

Based on that do I still take deal B?

I don't think either is a necessary trade, but for this season I think I'd prefer Deal B with Hosmer and Cahill.

It's all about September for me ... If I play Hosmer at utility and have Cahill down the stretch vs. Zimmermann, am I better positioned? Cahills recent slump due to tough starts against bos, NYY, chisox, or something more?
