Rizzo or Moustakas

Postby johnlee1986 » Fri Jun 10, 2011 8:46 am

Whose the better pick up in a 4 year keeper? I've heard Moustaka is only a notch below Hosmer and he plays the 3B.

I've got 4th so it prob wont come down to me but just in case.

I'd say Moose, thinner position and better team/park to play with.

I like Moose on this one. He and Hosmer should light it up for the next few years.

good luck

He is a notch below Hosmer average wise, but thats about it! He will hit a lot more homeruns and drive in more RBIs

I'd take Mous especially in a 4 year keeper. You probably have your 3B set for the next several years.

I'm actually very pro-Rizzo. Listen I understand the drawbacks....inflated minors statistics, Petco, lineup, young, etc.

However, I think Rizzo has so much raw potential its insane. And lets be honest, Kansas City isnt the best at developing their prospects. Sure, it look slike they struck gold with Hosmer, but....

I'll take Rizzo.

Please help with mine.

Rizzo
Mous is overrated, and will be in the OF soon.

Understand this prospects are prospects and pros are pros, a valuable lesson. Moustakas is hitting over .300 already overcoming a slump, has several multi hit games a couple homers and a steal. He's producing at the major league level already. What has Rizzo done? Came up last year and stunk it up. Just like Trout even if Rizzo is a top ten player in baseball 4 years from now it's gonna take him 2-3 years to get there and for those 2-3 years Moustakas is gonna out produce him. Don't forget Moustakas was one of the most talked about prospects before he got called up, more than Hosmer. It's funny how once people hit the pro's they are forgotten and everyone wants the new shiny object.

Moose the next two years, Rizzo after that. Mouse is more ready. Rizzo has to solve some K issues in the bigs, with his loooonnnggg stroke.
