Hey guys, I need HR and RBIs, and my pitching is relatively decent...any ideas on whether I can afford this trade or not, thanks! ...I give Carpenter for Ortiz where this is my team: Ortiz would play UTIL and I would trade Hart and try to get another pitcher for him:
C Yadier Molina 1B Ryan howard 2B Brandon Phillips 3B Jhonny Peralta SS Jimmy Rollins OF Matt Kemp OF Rajai Davis OF Carlos Quentin Util Corey hart BN Alex Rios
SP Roy Halladay SP Chris Carpenter SP Jair Jurrjens RP Sergio Santos RP Mark Melancon P Gio Gonzales P Brian Matusz P Charlie Morton P Aaron Crow P Mike Adams P Brandon Lyon DL Brandon McCarthy
Heres the problem...here's his pitching staff: Lincecum, Lee, Price and then Colby Lewis, John Danks and Clayton Richard. Who do I ask for? Obviously not any of the first three because that would be a no automatically...and also even though it looks like he doesn't, he is lacking in SP because of how awful his other guys have been which is why he wants Carpenter in the first place. Any suggestions, or should I just stick with the 1 for 1 and try my hand at swapping hart for another SP with another team? Thanks guys, and I'm getting to your posts right now

I'm saying I think he would do that but I was asking do I really want any of those pitchers for Hart? Lewis can be very solid and is on a good team...Danks can be shaky but just pitched a gem so could be turning it around...and Richard has the best ballpark but is on a horrible team...but my first pick would have been Lewis too (if not I'll shoot for Danks I think)

He didn't go for it...should I try with Danks or Richard? Or do you think I should do the one for one with Ortiz and Carpenter and then shop Hart around for a 1for1 for another SP (this kid doesn't really need more OFs so I think thats why he didn't go for it) but I could probably sell him to someone who needs an OF and snag a SP for him?

I prefer Danks to Lewis anyway. If he doesn't accept that, just do Ortiz for Carpenter. I'm sure someone would trade a pitcher better than Richard for Hart.
Ortiz has been swinging a good bat in a good lineup this year. I like what he adds to your team over Carpenter.
