I was presented the following deal.... I am sitting first in my division of a 14 team league. I expect to contend once I get past some of this DL issue. He has presented something I lose in long run, but I am deeply considering. I have thrown a few counters, and it looks like this is what he is sticking to. I wanted another SP as I am heavy on closers. Thoughts??? Hold on to these DL type guys and hope. Pull the trigger.

I like the deal in which you receive Marcum ( he has been pitching well this year). I like Anderson but the lack of run support he receives makes it hard for me to put him out for my own team, plus this recent injury issue. Venters also being promoted to the closer in ATL also makes this a good deal. IMO Soto will eventually wake up. You will be in great shape as those guys come off the DL. Good luck
Marcum > Anderson (before Anderson was hurt) Posey >>>>>>>> Soto and you get to keep Posey for two more years Perez > Venters only because Perez is closing now.
I think you should be able to get more if giving up two years of Posey, although from this year's perspective only you are giving up Perez to get Marcum, Soto, and Venters. Not completely sold on this, I feel that you can get better, but I like the idea of moving Posey since leg injuries can be hard to come back from (see Kendry Morales).
I am not sure I like the deal. Yes, Anderson has a screwed up arm and Posey broke his leg, but they SHOULD be fine for next season. Also, Perez seems to have cemented himself as the Indians closer. This trade may be good for you now, but I believe that Posey and Anderson have too much potential to deal, especially when a good catcher is hard to come by.
I don't like this deal either. I think you can get more for Posey. Your pitching looks pretty solid the way it is. I would offer Posey and some of your 6 closers for one of the likes of McCann or Santana.
Marcum is a monster, especiall now in the NL and he racks up the Ks unlike Anderson...Anderson pithces in a nice park but gets very little run support and has looked shaky this season..Posey VS Soto is HUGE loss but I like the Venters deal over perez even though Perez will obviously get more saves (Venters is filthy and truthfully may eventually take over ATL closer role)...i would most likely do this.
