Cant Decide which trade to Accept WHIR guarenteed

Postby ATLbraves » Thu Jun 09, 2011 2:25 pm

I'm having a tough decision trying to decide which trade to accept.

Option A: My Alex Gordon/Matt Joyce/Carlos Marmol/Vogelsong for his Rasmus/Sandoval/Marcum

Option B: My Alex Gordon/Matt Joyce/Marmol/Vogelsong for his McCutchen/Ike Davis/Marcum

Do you like any of these trades? Or should I not accept either of them?

I like the second one, I'm not a Rasmus fan and I don't trust Sandoval with a wrist injury. The only thing that would concern me about Davis is he got shut down once, and is like a week away from any sort of activity without the boot on his foot. I would feel a lot better about this trade if you could swap Morrison for Gordon.

thanks for the feedback. I was leaning towards the second one as well, I will try and offer him LoMo instead of Gordon and see what he says.

any other suggestions?

Of course the first one. And while some may not trust Panda, how about Ike Davis? He hasn't played for over a month and there is no mention of him returning anytime soon.

ESPN has him coming back maybe before All-Star break, but more than likely after.

So do you think I should try and counter with LoMo instead of Alex Gordon?

I really would like to try and do a 3 for 2 or 4 for 2 so I can get McCutchen and Marcum. Do you think I would be giving away too much though if I give him Joyce, Gordon, Marmol, and Vogelsong?

the 2nd one easy.......getting mccutch and marcum are the prizes in this deal by far....marmol is good but who cares.....i would prob actually give him gordon over LoMo but they are a wash IMO

I completely agree, I think they are a wash too. I would probably include Gordon in the trade just cause he looks more appealing right now since he is owned in 86% of Yahoo leagues compared to LoMo's 59%.

The 2nd trade is more appealing to me, though I wouldn't fault you for going with the first one at all - both are good deals for you.

I like trade 1.
Pablo is very close to coming back while Davis will not contribute anytime soon.
McCutch is a stud but you dont need OF help, so Rasmus will do just fine.

Of course im a Giants fan so i may have more faith in Sandoval than most
