My Team = Walking MASH unit

Postby 8791Twins » Thu Jun 09, 2011 11:29 am

I already have 3 on the DL with 2 DTD's. I'm assuming PEDroia will need to go on the DL if it is a knee injury. I am planning on holding strong through this as my team is hitting lights out right now. My pitching is the monkey wrench in my plan for total domination. Not much I can do as I don't see many upside replacements.

Maybe you can use Ortiz as some sort of trade bait for a better pitcher, kind of a sell high deal.

I'm thinking you should package some OF's to sure up your pitching staff and 2B. Who's on your wire because the back of your rotation is lacking. Your ace's injury would worry me a bit.

Thanks for the replies guys. Current SP's on WW:

Matsuz
Masterson
Collmenter
Lilly
Zambrano
Norris
Harang

I don't make trades ever so I need some insight on the best way to go about this.

Why not make trades?? I bet you could flip Boesch for something pretty nice right now.

I'd dump Rodney and grab Matusz if you're looking for SP help.

I would definitely drop Tomlin for Collmenter. Don't know why you have Broxton and Rodney on your staff.

Picking up Rodney was stupid I agree. Here are some available RPs on WW:

Gregg
Soria
Melancon
Bastardo
Zambrano
Rauch
Fuentes

Or would I be better to drop Broxton and Rodney and not replace them on my roster. I only have 11 more WW transactions for the rest of the year so I didn't want to waste them if I didn't have to. Thanks for the help.

Might want to take a chance on Soria. He has struggled but if he returns to form he is argueably the best closer in the league.

Put out a feeler for M. Cuddyer for another team to use at 2B. I was thinking maybe I can snag him for Boesch or Rasmus. What do you think and is this a viable trade?

What about picking up Daniel Murphy to fill in at 2B? He has been a good fill in with Davis going down and he is 1B eligible.
