2-for-1 for David Price...WHIR guaranteed

It's a 12-team H2H mixed keeper league. I am FINALLY getting my chance to put Rizzo in my lineup, so, I'll be dropping my current awful 1st baseman and will have an extra roster spot. Coincidentally, I was also just offered this deal by a guy who's in next to last place (I'm in 2nd place) who's trying to get a keeper.

I give: David Price

I get: Yovani Gallardo and Jonathan Sanchez

I could use the pitching help, and, in my opinion, there's not much available on our waiver wire (examples are Tim Stauffer, Dillon Gee, Zach Duke, Felipe Paulino, and Paul Maholm)

Should I do it and get Sanchez, or am I better off hanging on to Price and picking up one of these free agents? Post your links so I can help in return. Thanks!

yea i like it i think yovani has way more run protection every start he doesnt play the red sox and the yankees 5 times each throughout the year add the blue jays as well to that list

then you get john sanchez for free who can get 10 ks on the good nights

Maybe it would have helped to post our pitching categories. We don't use wins, so, run support doesn't mean much to me. Our categories are: K, QS, SV, ERA, WHIP, and K/BB

Oh, and I could give him Lester instead of Price if you think I'd be better off doing that.

I'd rather deal Lester than Price - he doesn't seem right at the moment (obv. he can figure it out tomorrow and have a 2 ERA the rest of the season, though, heh).

Definitely like the 1 for 2 though. Gallardo appears 'back' finally. And I'm a huge Sanchez-is-underrated fan.

Wow, I just did a little comparison looking at Lester and Price's stats from 2010 and 2011 and I think I might be better off doing this deal:

I give: Lester

I get: Gallardo and Sanchez

Price's numbers are better than Lester's in almost all of our categories...I never thought to compare them.

either way do the trade pick one its a blind test there close in talent i go with keeping lester because oh how easy boston can score

Yeah, like I said, I'm not too concerned with how much Boston scores....Wins aren't a category for us. I think I'm going to do this deal:

I give: Lester and Miguel Olivo

I get: Gallardo, Sanchez, and Napoli

Then I'm dropping Stauffer....if anyone thinks I'm better off standing pat, let me know ASAP. Otherwise, adios Lester. Thanks for the help guys!
