Thinking of replacing Gardner with a FA. WHIR,LL

Postby KaPluie » Wed Jun 08, 2011 2:43 pm

I've got Gardner ... he isn't producing runs and steals at the rate I hoped he would, even though he has been improving. I'm thinking of dropping him for one of the following FAs OFs in my league:
Jeff Francoeur
Johnny Damon
Corey Patterson
Josh Willingham
Austin Jackson
Michael Brantley
Mitch Moreland

Anyone see any upgrades? WHIR,LL

I definitely like Brantley the best out of the group as well

If I had to rank them I would go:
Brantley
Moreland
Damon
Willingham (low avg but high R's, RBI's, HR's, and TB's)

Do you like Michael Brantley over Gardner?

right now I definitely do, the only thing Gardner has going for him is that he is apart of the Yankees lineup. But he is not even getting everyday at-bats anymore. Brantley is an everyday player and is also a 5-Cat guy so I would definitely drop Gardner for Brantley.

Brantley is the only guy I'd do it for. He should be a better option from here on out as well.

Tabata is an interesting option too, especially since you are in a keeper league. But Brantley is also a good keeper and is hitting for a better average, so Brantley is still the best choice.

B-) I like Moreland but he doesn't fit your needs so much.
Brantley is an intriguing option.
