I have hosmer in a dynasty league. But I also have McCab and Fielder so I don't even use Hosmer right now. What kind of pitchers has he been netting in trades. Please share your completes trades so I can gauge his value. I don't think I'm going to really get what I want so I will probably hang onto him for a year till his value is alot higher. Thanks for sharing
I put a few offers out there earlier. I actually offered one kid Hosmer for Hanson but he rejected it in favor of Hosmer for Cliff Lee that I also offered. He was the first one to get the offers and first to respond so everything else was obviously void. I would have liked to get the younger up and comming pitcher but I cant complain about lee correct? I'm first in my division with hopes of winning it again two years in a row

Similar league to yours and recent Hosmer offers I'm aware of that were turned down include:
Pineda for Hosmer - rejected Utley + Des Jennings for Prado + Hosmer - rejected Des Jennings + Aroldis Chapman for Hosmer - rejected CJ Wilson + Adam Lind for Hosmer - rejected Braun for McCutcheon + Hosmer - rejected
Wish I could tell you what he's traded for but unfortunately he's not been moved yet.

You're crazy! Tommy Hanson is almost/already a top 10 pitcher at the moment!

Count me as crazy too. I'd move Hanson for the opportunity to acquire Hosmer in a dynasty league.

It depends on your team and league, but as far as I'm concerned, Hanson is a top 10 pitcher for years to come and Hosmer a great 1B prospect with a high ceiling. But I'll take a top 10 pitcher over a great 1B prospect any time. Again, it depends on your league.
Disclaimer: I own both Hosmer and Hanson in a H2H keeper league
Haha im gonna follow this topic cuz i have Hosmer too Really i dont know his trade value but im guessing its pretty high.. I just grabbed him the other day so i dont know how much you could get form him but im guessing i good amount. Hes on a 9 game hitting streak hitting a .410 avg 9 RBIs, 1 Homer, and 7 runs on that 9 game hitting streak.. Not too bad. If i were you i would shoot for young guys that are doing nice like Hanson, Pineda, Anibal, etc. or a Really good guy that has been slumping as of lately (ex: Lee, Cain, Gallardo, etc.) And tell us how they go please!
Did I do good by getting Lee? I kinda wish I hadn't offered that one and just the Hanson offer (being a dynasty league) but either way I should have a stud pitcher for the next few years in Lee
