Need help- Autodrafted Team floundering...

Postby eltoroforever » Wed Jun 08, 2011 8:57 am

Hello Experts,

Please help me with the following trade proposal that was offered to me:

Erik Bedard and Kyle Lohse for my Lance Berkman.

My Team:

C Russell Martin
1B Ryan Howard
2B Michael Young(Tex - 1B,2B,3B) New player notes
3B Adrián Béltre
SS José Reyes
OF Ryan Braun
OF Jayson Werth
OF Lance Berkman
Util Kelly Johnson
Util Eric Hosmer
BN Geovany Soto
BN Shin-Soo Choo
BN Jed Lowrie(Bos - 2B,3B,SS)
BN Derek Jeter

Wandy Rodríguez
Ricky Nolasco
José Valverde
Aaron Crow
Luke Gregerson
Jason Frasor
Fernando Salas
Josh Tomlin
Justin Masterson
Jonathan Broxton

As you can see - I desperately need starting pitching. Is this a good trade? I'm not sold on Bedard, but I also don't think Berkman will be healthy all season either...

His team:

Jonathan Lucroy
Daniel Murphy
Ian Kinsler
Justin Turner
Jimmy Rollins
Hunter Pence
Carlos González
Nelson Cruz
Corey Hart
Michael Bourn
David Wright

Johnny Cueto
Mat Latos
Francisco Cordero
Chris Pérez
Jordan Walden
Jon Rauch
Mark Melancon
Erik Bedard
Alexi Ogando
Tommy Hanson
Colby Lewis
Jake Peavy
Kyle Lohse

I'd counter with Latos and Cueto...... I don't like trading bats for pitchers one for one, but you really need arms not just one arm.

Thanks for the advice- Incidentally, I forgot to mention the league particulars:
