Who to pick up?

Postby footballmaniac » Wed Jun 08, 2011 12:36 am

I made a move last night and picked up Soria. I was hoping he comes back to form but the K's just arent there. Pablo Sandoval is on the waiver wire along with Lawrie and josh Collmenter. I dont like carrying 3 closers even though I can start 3. I also dont like carrying bench Offensive players. I think it makes no sense to keep someone on the bench who might start once and get you 3-5 points when I can get a starter who will get me more. I posted last night but my roster changed.

Sooo....what should I do? Do I pass on Pablo? If so, do I use my #4 waiver on him? How about the other 2, lawrie and collmenter?

keep you a soria. he'll get you the saves in the long run. i agree on the limited offensive bench strategy, but i generally keep someone on there anyways due to possible injuries, split stat favorites &ct. i disagree on your two closer strat because generally, the closers will help your era (even if they foul up, it's easier for them to correct it).

as for kung foo panda, i'd probably counsel you to hold off on it (as much as i personally would drop Gee and jump on Pablo). you've got Pujols and Youk doin alright for you (now that Albert is finding his swing) so you're basically covered.

help with mine if you have a take?

I would quickly drop Gee for Kung Fu Panda.
