McCutchen/Valverde for Cain/Werth

Postby itaos » Tue Jun 07, 2011 11:43 pm

This is a potential trade in a 5x5 yahoo rotisserie league. I am near the bottom in Wins, ERA and WHIP and have been looking to flip Bedard + offense for another SP but nothing interesting has come of it. Offense is top third in all categories. I will probably drop 4 places in the saves category by seasons end if I lose Valverde. Do you think adding Cain will make up for that loss or should I trust that my pitching staff will be more consistent in the future? Thanks in advance.

I think u might be able to somehow hang into Valverde and just get Cain. I personally am not wowed by Werth and would rather have McCutchen. But can u get Cain and. Bat for McCutchen if u moved just him?

Help me out?

id like to see you try to offer chris young and valverde thatd soften your blow big time tell him chris young does the same stuff as mccutchen just a little less and talk to him about how terrible werth has been

i think zimmerman coming back is gonna help werth a ton

but as the trade stands no way mccutchen is 30 30 potential with 90 rbis hes 1/3 of the way there now with 9 and 11

No way you give up McC and Valverde for Cain and Werthless. PASS BIG TIME.
