If it were me, it'd depend on whether I was thinking this would be a long-term or short-term pick up. If it's just a short term thing and you're going to drop him when someone comes off the DL, I'd go with Pagan, because he's more proven at the major league level and it looks like he might be heating up. If it's someone you might hang onto all season and potentially keep, I'd go with Gordon because if his numbers in the majors are sort of consistent with what he's been doing in the minors, there shouldn't be a huge difference between him and Pagan long-term, plus he's a SS which makes him more valuable in my opinion.

Thanks for your help with my question :-D

Sort of short term no matter what because I'll get Wandy back next week and eventually Ike Davis. However, with Hanley on the DL, I'm not thrilled with the Lowrie/Desmond platoon of late.

Of course, a third option is Edinson Volquez who looked good today.

What say you?

I would go with Dee Gordon....you have plenty of good UTIL options, whereas I'm kind of worried about Lowrie's shoulder and slowing production...plus Scutaro is back. Gordon should at least get you lots of steals and runs in the short term and could keep the job if he produces. Worth the gamble.

I personally avoid Volquez like the plague. He's just too unpredictable and dangerous to stream. I honestly don't think you'll go wrong with either one. Another option might be to grab Pagan short-term and dump Lowrie for Gordon. But that's also a little riskier.

Thanks guys. I went with Gordon.

Was my 4th and final move for the week but I am wi Ning by a lot right now and should be good for now. I just hope Gordon does well and Hanley comes back strong so it's all just icing on the cake.
