Kemp / Felix deal

Postby mekman20 » Tue Jun 07, 2011 2:36 pm

I traded Kemp for Felix and Sizemore. What do you guys think? I'm dominating the league right now, but my pitching needed the boost, especially with Brett Anderson possibly needing TJ. I'm iffy on Sizemore. He looked real good early, then hit the DL, and now he's looking just meh. Really the deal rides on him...because Felix is about as good of a pitcher as there is. What do you guys think? 5x5 12-team roto

I think that crippled your OF more then what you're gonna get in return in Felix. The rookie on that staff, Pineda, is actually matching him in wins and better in ERA,WHIP, and QS..... I don't like giving up bats like Kemp in basically one for one deals for pitchers.

I didn't say he is complete trash. I have him in my keeper league, but I also have Braun, Cruz, Ellsbury, Lind, Morse, and Beltran backing him up, so I don't have to rely on him like you're gonna need to. I'm hoping he can get it going again. I'm just thinking that Kemp is a 5 cat player........ Those are hard to replace. If you feel you can take the hit in offense that Felix can bring to your pitching then it's a good trade for you. I don't know the other teams roster, so don't know where I might have also looked to better the deal.
